Erica Fartlander and Dustin Ween may or may not be real people. But that doesn't mean people didn't fall for this almost believable fake wedding invitation to their fake wedding. But what caught peoples' eye the most wasn't the well made fake nuptial but the fact that there really is a family of people named Fartlander.

And according to Ancestry.com the family origins are in Ohio.

The full entry says the Fartlander name dates back to the 1920's, and lists a number of possible surnames. So while we might never get to see the lovely marriage between the Fartlander and Ween clans, I will try my best to get confirmation that the Fartlander are in fact real people.
